Yatta Bandz, a master of raw lyricism and heartfelt melodies, opens his soul on his new EP, Acrylic. The Hayward, CA native uses the eight-track project to deepen his connection with listeners, sharing deeply personal stories about heartbreak, love, self-reflection, and growth.
Acyrlic sets the tone with the opener “All I Ask,” where Yatta lays bare his emotions, pleading for clarity in a troubled relationship. On “I Will,” he shifts gears, delivering a glimmering promise to rise above past mistakes and offer the love he knows he can give. The EP takes a darker turn with “Bad Guy,” a track that sees Yatta wrestling with his demons, offering an honest reflection on his imperfections: “Know that I ain’t perfect, but my loyalty is so legit.”
