ONE Musicfest’s inaugural TwoGether Land Festival in Dallas, Texas, held on Saturday, May 25th, and Sunday, May 26th, was a spectacular success, drawing tens of thousands of enthusiastic festivalgoers. The event featured unforgettable performances, high energy, electrifying live podcasts and a series of remarkable moments that underscored the festival’s dynamic and inclusive spirit. TwoGether Land Festival is produced in partnership with Live Nation Urban (LNU).
TwoGether Land showcased sponsorship from partners Toyota, Martell, and Procter & Gamble brands that include Bevel, Gain, Febreze and Mielle.
Day one saw a performance by rising Country music star Shaboozey who recently replaced Beyonce’ at #1 on Billboard’s “Hot Country Songs” chart with “A Bar Song (Tipsey).” His performance set the stage for the rest of the day. Chicago artist Tink delighted fans by distributing popsicles, offering a refreshing treat in the Texas heat. She later returned to the stage to deliver an unforgettable set. Dru Hill brought a nostalgic vibe with their 90s hits, while member Sisqo had everyone dancing to the iconic “Thong Song.” To everyone’s delight, the first rap group to win an Academy Award, Three 6 Mafia, brought the hits that made them international stars. Gucci Mane raised the energy of the night by bringing out his wife, Keyshia Ka’oir, who danced and hyped the crowd during his performance of “Freaky Gurl.” Key Glock paid a touching tribute to his late cousin Young Dolph, captivating the crowd with the emotional performance of “Preach.”
Summer Walker closed out the first night with a sultry and captivating performance, leaving the audience wanting more. Tink joined the starlet’s set to perform the hit song “Treat Me Like Somebody,” much to the crowd’s delight. Dallas native 4Batz also popped out and performed his Billboard Hot 100-charting single “act ii: date @ 8,” featuring Drake, with the crowd passionately reciting Drake’s verse.
On day two, Texas native, That Mexican OT was a fan favorite with an unmatched stage presence, engaging with the crowd by joining them at the front of the photo pit, signing autographs, and taking selfies. Bay Bay’s set was a celebration of Texas pride, featuring high-energy performances from favorites including Dorrough, Fat Pimp, GS Boyz, Big Tuck, Treal Lee & Prince Rick, and more. Jeezy brought Atlanta’s vibe to Dallas, delivering powerful renditions of “Put On” and “Way Too Gone,” showcasing the unifying energy of TwoGether Land. Latto’s fans, carried signs with popular sayings like “Here for Big Mama!,” while eagerly awaiting her performance. She captivated the audience with her strong stage presence, mingling with fans, taking pictures, and throwing water bottles into the crowd, assisting in quenching the thirst of many while keeping the energy high.
The legendary Lil Wayne closed the festival, delivering a string of hits from “A Milli” to “Mrs. Officer,” and even treating fans to tracks from his mixtape days, thrilling his Day One supporters. He closed out the set by playing the befitting track “I Will Always Love You,” by Whitney Houston.
The festival also featured highly engaging podcast sessions. Angela Yee‘s interactive live session of her Lip Service podcast attracted a large, enthusiastic audience. One even joined the hosts on the stage for a very fascinating interview Akeem Ali. The Whoreible Decisions podcast was packed, with the hosts creating a memorable experience for attendees by creating a human cake on stage. Other highlighted podcasts over the weekend included Dear Fathers, where TwoGether Land co-partner, Steve Canal, spoke on fatherhood, Storytime with Legendary Jerry, who had a titillating conversation with legendary Dallas native of NWA-fame, D.O.C., Mazi’s World, Real Life, and the lively Social Proof.
The success of ONE Musicfest’s expansion with TwoGether Land in Dallas highlights the festival’s growing influence and its ability to bring together a diverse array of musical talents and fans for an unforgettable weekend across the country.
