An icon in the rap world for over a decade, Chief Keef draws a crowd wherever he goes. Today, the 29-year-old artist announces rescheduled dates for “A Lil Tour,” his upcoming nationwide headlining tour.
Produced by Live Nation, “A Lil Tour” criss-crosses the U.S. for 14 dates, starting in San Francisco on October 30th (The Midway), before making stops in Los Angeles on November 2nd (Hollywood Palladium), Atlanta on November 13th (Coca Cola Roxy), Philadelphia on November 19th (The Fillmore), Brooklyn on November 23rd (Brooklyn Paramount), and more. 43B signee Lil Gnar and The Glo Boyz will join Sosa on tour as support for all dates.
TICKETS: General on sale begins Friday, September 6 at 10am local time on ChiefKeef.com. Tickets for the previously scheduled tour will be honored on the new dates.
“A Lil Tour” arrives a few months after Sosa’s acclaimed album Almighty So 2 – released May 10th via 43B. Crafted over a period of two years, Almighty So 2 is produced by Sosa himself. The young auteur mostly eschews melody on the new album–instead, he resolves to showcase his prodigious abilities as an emcee, sharpening his pen and emptying out his arsenal of flows. Featuring appearances from Sexyy Red, Quavo, G Herbo, TierraWhack, his 43B signee Lil Gnar, and his Glo Gang associate Ballout, Almighty So 2 earned Best New Music honors from Pitchfork (8.4), along with glowing praise and “Album of the Year” support from Rolling Stone, The FADER, Associated Press, Vulture and many more. It also made its debut on the Billboard charts at number three Independent Albums, number nine Top Rap Albums, number 10 Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, number 26 Top Streaming Albums, and number 30 on the Billboard 200.
